BEIJING, December 6 (TMTPOST) —— Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co., Ltd., the parent company of Tecno, Infinix, and Itel, announced a global strategic partnership with Google, according to the announcement on Monday.

The global strategic partnership aims to develop deep cooperation in key areas such as Android OS, online advertising, and Google Cloud Services to accelerate the creation of smartphone devices and mobile internet services for emerging markets around the world.

Google will support Transsion to build a smart life ecological platform to support the digital lifestyle and jointly serve hundreds of millions of emerging market consumers and global mobile developers. Through this partnership, Transsion will also leverage Google's advertising tools to help transform its digital platform business, improve the efficiency of its advertising realizations, and enhance its business operation with Google Cloud technology.

The total global population is now close to 8 billion, with approximately 5 billion people living in vast emerging market countries and regions. Consumers in mature markets and emerging markets are eager to be connected to the world through high-quality smart-end products and convenient and efficient mobile Internet services.

Transsion will introduce Google Cloud's advanced infrastructure, big data, AI/ML, network, and Media CDN technologies to improve user experience and build Transsion's developer cloud platform, which is built on Google Cloud's global network infrastructure. The infrastructure is secure and efficient, providing a full range of automated content delivery mechanisms and bringing service content closer to end users. It will help developers in Africa obtain the greatest operational efficiency at the lowest cost.
